Full-Throttle Thriller: NLK Battles Through PKRA Round 4

The 2026 PKRA Summer Series reached its fourth round this past weekend, and the Next Level Karting team once again found itself fighting near the front across multiple classes. Race No. 4 brought another victory, a podium finish, several standout drives, and plenty of speed throughout the paddock as the summer championship continued to take shape.

From dominant performances at the front to impressive charges through the field, NLK drivers once again proved that strong results come in many forms.

Kid Kart: Vincent Remains Perfect

At this point, Vincent B. is making perfection look routine.

The Kid Kart championship leader started the day by securing pole position and never looked back. Vincent controlled the pace throughout the event, dominating both races on his way to a fourth consecutive victory to open the PKRA Summer Series.

Four races into the season, Vincent remains undefeated and continues to build what is quickly becoming one of the strongest championship campaigns in the paddock.

Junior 1: Jett Leads the Charge

Junior 1 delivered some of the most exciting racing of the evening, with multiple NLK drivers battling near the front.

Travis A. kicked things off with an impressive qualifying performance, placing 5th overall. When several of the fastest drivers elected to start from the back of the heat race, Travis found himself lining up on the front row and making the most of the opportunity.

Meanwhile, Jett F. wasted little time getting to the front. After taking the lead, he quickly pulled away from the field and crossed the line first in the heat race, showcasing the pace that has made him one of the class favorites this summer.

The main event looked destined to end with another victory. Jett led every lap and controlled the race from the front before a fierce battle on the final lap shuffled the order, dropping him back to 3rd at the checkered flag. While the result may have fallen just short of the win, another podium finish keeps his championship momentum moving in the right direction.

Behind him, Travis continued his strong evening with a 6th-place finish. Joe A. crossed the line in 9th, Everly W. finished 10th, and Eli S. came home 11th following an incident with another kart after battling at the front throughout the night in a highly competitive field.

Junior 2: Speed Throughout the Lineup

The final results may not fully tell the story of the Junior 2 class.

Maddie L. continued her recent progress with one of her strongest performances of the season, qualifying 4th and showing impressive pace throughout the evening. She ultimately finished 6th, but her speed throughout the event was one of the highlights of the class for the team.

Kennedy S. followed in 7th after entering the weekend on the heels of back-to-back podium finishes. While she narrowly missed extending her podium streak, she continued to demonstrate the consistency that has fueled her recent success.

Jack I. completed the trio in 8th, but one of the most encouraging signs from the race came from the timing sheets. Kennedy and Jack recorded the two fastest laps of the main event, proving that the outright speed is there as both drivers continue to develop and put complete race weekends together.

LO206 Senior: Nik’s Charge Through the Field

The drive of the night in 206 Senior belonged to Nik H. After a difficult qualifying session left him 14th on the grid, Nik faced a significant challenge heading into the races. Rather than settling for damage control, he put together one of the strongest comeback drives of the evening, charging through the field to finish 4th in the main event.

A podium was within reach until a final-lap battle shuffled the order, dropping him back one position. Even so, advancing ten spots in one of PKRA’s deepest classes was an impressive display of determination and racecraft.

Dean R. backed up the effort with a strong 5th-place finish, giving NLK two drivers inside the top five. Colin D. added another top-10 result in 9th, while Conner V. finished 17th after an unintentional incident led to a penalty.

Unfortunately, Isaac P.’s night ended early with a DNF. After showing front-running speed throughout the summer, he’ll undoubtedly be looking for redemption in the next round.

ROTAX Senior Max: Building Experience

Travis M. represented Next Level in Rotax Senior Max and brought home an 11th-place finish.

As Rotax participation continues to grow, every race provides valuable experience against increasingly competitive fields. Travis continues to gain laps and build momentum heading deeper into the season.

Championship Battles Heating Up

As the PKRA Summer Series Championship approaches its midpoint, Next Level Karting continues to show strength throughout the paddock.

Vincent B. remains undefeated through four rounds. Jett F. added another podium after leading nearly every lap of the evening. Maddie L. showcased some of her best speed of the season, while Nik H. delivered one of the most impressive drives of the night with his charge from 14th to 4th.

The trophies are important, but so is the continued growth throughout the lineup. Four rounds in, Next Level Karting continues to demonstrate both.
