Heroes & Hard Chargers: Another Strong Night at PKRA Summer Race 3

The momentum continued for Next Level Karting at PKRA Summer Series Championship Race No. 3 as the team collected two victories, three additional podium finishes, and a long list of determined drives throughout the paddock.

As the summer championship begins to take shape, NLK drivers are proving that success comes in many forms. From race wins and podium celebrations to comeback drives and personal milestones, Race No. 3 showcased the depth and resilience that continue to define the team.

Kid Kart: Vincent Makes It Three Straight

Three races. Three victories.

Vincent B. continued his perfect start to the PKRA Summer Series with another impressive performance in Kid Kart. After qualifying second, Vincent delivered one of the highlights of the evening with a dramatic last-lap pass to capture the heat race victory.

That momentum carried into the main event, where he took control early and never looked back, leading every lap on his way to a third consecutive win.

As the championship progresses, Vincent continues to establish himself as the driver everyone else is chasing.

Junior 1: Jett’s Last-to-First Charge Steals the Show

The story of the night belonged to Jett F. After starting 15th in the heat race, Jett faced a daunting challenge before the evening even began. Rather than simply working his way forward, he delivered one of the most impressive drives of the season, charging from the back of the field to the front and ultimately capturing the Junior 1 victory.

Winning races is difficult. Winning them after starting deep in the field requires speed, racecraft, patience, and determination. Jett showcased all four.

The rest of the Junior 1 group delivered strong performances as well. Eli S. continued his consistent summer campaign with a competitive night that included a 3rd-place finish in the heat race before battling throughout the main event to secure 5th place. Travis A. produced one of the biggest gains of the evening, advancing nine positions during the main event to finish 6th, just behind Eli. His ability to move forward through traffic highlighted the progress he’s making each race weekend.

Joe A. unfortunately recorded a DNF in the main event after an incident with another driver sent both karts into the tires, but his determination throughout the evening remained evident and he’ll look to bounce back in the next round.

Junior 2: Kennedy Earns Back-to-Back Podiums

Fresh off earning her first Junior 2 trophy at the previous race, Kennedy S. proved that it was no fluke. Kennedy returned to the podium with another 3rd-place finish, making it back-to-back trophy performances and continuing one of the strongest stretches of her young season. Consistency is often what separates contenders from the rest of the field, and Kennedy is beginning to establish exactly that.

Maddie L. continued to show steady improvement as well. While an 8th-place finish may not immediately jump off the results sheet, she ran solidly in the middle of the field throughout the evening and continues to gain confidence and racecraft with every event. We know she’ll be fighting for the lead very soon. Jack I. unfortunately saw his evening end early after getting caught up in an incident during the main event. While the result wasn’t what he hoped for, everyone at Next Level Karting was excited to see him back on track and competing once again.

206 Senior: Another Podium for Gavin

The always-competitive 206 Senior category once again featured a strong Next Level Karting presence. Gavin C. continued his run of consistent performances with another podium finish, bringing home 3rd place and adding valuable championship points to his summer campaign. The multi-time champion continues to keep himself firmly in contention every time he rolls onto the grid. Tyler M. followed with a strong 5th-place finish while Nik H. crossed the line in 6th, giving NLK three drivers inside the top six.

Isaac P. finished 8th but demonstrated front-running speed throughout the evening, recording the fastest lap of the main event. The result may not fully reflect the pace he showed, but the speed is clearly there as the season progresses. Dean R. completed the team’s efforts in 15th after a challenging night in one of the deepest fields of the event.

ROTAX Junior Max: Maverick Holds Strong in Growing Field

Maverick M. added another podium to the team’s tally with a 3rd-place finish in ROTAX Junior Max.

What makes the result particularly impressive is the strength of the field. Competing in a combined Junior and Senior Rotax race that featured one of the largest turnouts the class has seen at a PKRA club race in quite some time, Maverick held his own against a deep and experienced group of competitors.

As participation in the Rotax categories continues to grow, performances like this become even more meaningful.

ROTAX Senior Max: Looking Ahead

Travis M. unfortunately recorded a DNF in Rotax Senior Max, ending his evening earlier than planned. While the result was disappointing, every race weekend presents new opportunities, and he’ll be looking to rebound in the next round.

Championship Momentum Continues

Three rounds into the PKRA Summer Series, Next Level Karting continues to build momentum in every corner of the paddock.

Vincent B. remains undefeated in Kid Kart. Jett F. delivered one of the drives of the season with his remarkable last-to-first victory. Kennedy S. secured her second consecutive Junior 2 podium, while Gavin C. and Maverick M. added more hardware to the team’s growing collection.

Just as importantly, drivers throughout the lineup continue to gain experience, improve their racecraft, and move forward each week.

The summer championship is still young, but Next Level Karting continues to show that success isn’t measured only by trophies—it’s measured by growth, perseverance, and the willingness to keep pushing to the next level.

Karting is a lifestyle.
