Next Level Karting returned to K1 Circuit for Round 3 of the Semi-Pro Series, and our drivers didn’t disappoint. With strong performances across both the Teen and Adult categories, the team once again showed why we’re quickly becoming the benchmark in competitive karting.
Teen Semi-Pro – Myers Makes His Move
In the Teen category, Travis Myers carried the Next Level banner into the B Main. After two tough qualifying sessions, Travis lined up 4th on the grid and knew he’d need to make moves quickly to stay in contention.
When the green flag dropped, he wasted no time—storming through the field and diving into Turn 4 with a bold move to snatch the race lead. From there, Travis was in complete control, setting the pace and building a gap that no one could close. Lap after lap, he showed maturity beyond his years, and when the checkered flag waved, it was Travis who crossed the line first with a dominant win.
Adult Semi-Pro – Perez-D’Amico and Rodgers Take on the A Main
A week later, it was time for the Adult Semi-Pro showdown, with Giovanni Perez-D’Amico and Gavyn Rodgers representing Next Level Karting.
Qualifying didn’t start smoothly, as both drivers struggled with difficult handling karts in the opening session. But our drivers adapted, and in the second round both bounced back. Giovanni delivered a stellar lap to grab pole position, while Gavyn slotted into P11 for the A Main.
In the final, Giovanni launched cleanly off the line but lost the lead in Turn 4 on lap two. What followed was an eight-lap chess match at 60 mph—every corner a battle, every lap a setup for the next attack. With one lap to go, Giovanni struck with precision, reclaiming the lead and holding it to the finish for another Next Level victory.
Further down the order, Gavyn’s race was made tougher by a lap-one incident that split the field apart. Despite the setback, he regrouped and fought his way back into the mix, ultimately bringing home 11th place after a gritty drive.
Making an Impression at K1
From Travis’s fearless win in the Teen class to Giovanni’s late-race heroics in the Adults, Round 3 was another showcase of Next Level Karting’s strength, determination, and race craft. Even in the face of challenges, our drivers proved they’re the ones to beat, turning heads at K1 Circuit and keeping the championship momentum rolling.
