Giovanni Perez-D’Amico is a national karting champion, engineering student, co-founder, and dedicated coach at Next Level Karting. At just 20 years old, Gio has already built an impressive racing résumé—including a 3rd place finish at the 2023 K1 Speed World Championship, championship wins in the Teen (2021) and Adult (2024) Challenge GP series, the title of 2025 K1 Speed U.S. Champion, and a 2nd place finish at the 2025 K1 Speed World Championship.

Giovanni’s journey began at K1 Speed Phoenix, where he quickly became known for his smooth driving style and tactical brilliance on track. His passion for racing runs deep—fueled by his love for McLaren F1 and Lando Norris—and is matched by his commitment to mentoring new drivers and giving back to the karting community.

Off the track, Giovanni studies engineering in college and runs his own small business, The Printed Pieces, specializing in custom 3D-printed parts and accessories. He’s proud of his role as a big brother, values his close-knit family, and brings that same supportive energy to every coaching session.

As a coach, Gio focuses on helping drivers master the fundamentals of racing—line precision, kart control, and mental discipline—especially in the electric karting space where split-second decisions define success.
