The PKRA Winter Series Championship returned for Race #2, following an unprecedented showing by the team at the first race of the season (results sadly not published), with Next Level Karting carrying serious momentum into the weekend. One a day filled with clean driving, strategic racecraft, and standout performances across every class, the team showcased depth, speed, and consistency as the championship battle begins to take shape. Here’s how the event unfolded.
Kid Kart – Building the Foundation Early
NLK started strong in the Kid Kart division, where Maksim B. delivered a commanding drive to 1st place, setting the tone for the day. Right behind him, Vincent B. continued his rapid development with a confident run to 4th, showing maturity far beyond his early experience.
Junior 1 Novice – Momentum in Full Swing
The winning trend continued in Junior 1 Novice as Joe A. captured his very first hard-earned 1st-place finish, delivering a strong start to the Winter Series and reinforcing his place as a top contender in the class.
Junior 1 – Battling Through a Tight Field
The Junior 1 class featured some of the closest racing of the weekend, and both NLK drivers handled the pressure well. Eli S. fought through dense mid-pack traffic to secure 7th, while Travis A. stayed in the mix and brought home a solid 9th, keeping both drivers in a strong position as the series progresses.

ROTAX Mini – Podium Pace and Consistency
In ROTAX Mini, Jett F. showcased his trademark pace with a smooth, focused run to 2nd, adding another podium to his growing Winter Series tally. Maverick M. continued to build consistency, earning 5th after a weekend of steady improvement and smart racing.
Junior 2 – Determination in a Deep Field
The Juniorr 2 lineup was among the most competitive of the day, but our drivers embraced the challenge and kept pushing forward. Maddie L. secured 13th, with Parker S. close behind in 15th, and Jack I. in 16th—each gaining valuable experience and speed that will pay off as the season intensifies.
206 Senior – A United Front Near the Podium
The 206 Senior team put together one of NLK’s strongest combined efforts of the event, even with many of the team’s drivers sitting out this layout. Colin D. and Dean R. ran nose-to-tail for much of the race, ultimately finishing 4th and 5th after a hard-fought battle just outside the podium positions.

ROTAX Senior – Strong Runs in a Fast Class
Rounding out the day, Travis M. delivered a clean and competitive drive to 4th in ROTAX Senior, staying well within podium contention. Elijah L. handled a high-speed, high-pressure field with composure, finishing 12th after an undeserving penalty that would have seen him take his first win in the class as he continues to build toward stronger results.
Carrying Confidence Into Race #3
Race #2 showcased both the strength and the depth of the Next Level Karting program. With wins, podiums, and promising development across all divisions, the team leaves the weekend with growing confidence and clear momentum heading into the next race of the Winter Series. Special thanks to our sponsors and pit crew without whom none of this would be possible!
