Hot Laps: NLK Heats Up Race #7 with Podiums Across the Grid

While the sun beat down on Phoenix, it was the fierce racing at PKRA that stole the spotlight over the weekend. Next Level Karting came ready to battle in Round 7 of the 2025 PKRA Summer Series Championship, delivering standout performances, multiple pole positions, hard-fought podiums, and a few heart-pounding moments across every class.

Kid Kart

The youngest drivers on the team showed tremendous poise and pace, with Maksim B. grabbing yet another 1st place finish, and continuing his dominant streak of placing 1st in every session of the day. Everly W. followed close behind with a strong 2nd place, showing that she’s not just fast—she’s consistent and composed beyond her years.

Junior 1

Jett F. stood tall on the 3rd step of the podium, while also securing Pole Position for the Jr 1 class, showcasing both speed and smart race craft in a competitive field. Eli S. and Travis A. finished 12th and 13th respectively, gaining more seat time and valuable experience. Maverick M. suffered a tough DNF, and Joe A. did not start—but both remain eager to bounce back stronger next round.

Junior 2

In a packed Jr 2 field, Kennedy S. led the team effort in 8th, followed by Herman W. (11th), and Maddie L. (15th), who continues to gain confidence with her recent return to kart racing. Unfortunately, Jack I. faced mechanical issues and did not finish, but his resilience continues to inspire the team.

206 Senior

Next Level’s 206 Sr. drivers were on fire with Gavin C. earning a 2nd place podium finish after a fierce battle up front. Dean R. and Nik H. followed closely in 4th and 5th, continuing their climb up the championship leaderboard. Colin D. brought it home in 10th, while Tyler M. and Alex S. rounded out the group in 19th and 23rd in a absolutely stacked field of racers.

206 Masters

Team Coach David H. returned to racing and the podium once again with a 2nd place finish after setting pole and leading the Masters class all day, proving his experience and pace remain sharp as ever.

ROTAX Senior

Elijah L. unfortunately had a DNF this round in Rotax Sr, but his drive and commitment continue to push him forward with every race.

Looking Ahead

With only two races remaining in the Summer Series, the intensity is ramping up and championship battles are beginning to take shape. Next Level Karting continues to showcase not just talent—but heart, teamwork, and a relentless drive to improve. From Kid Kart to Masters, this team is built for podiums, progress, and passion.
