Travis Myers #95
The Rain Master
Travis Myers, known on the track as “The Rain Master,” is a 15-year-old kart racer from Queen Creek, Arizona. His racing journey began at the age of six in 2017, when he first got behind the wheel at K1 Speed in Phoenix. Inspired by the legendary animated racer Lightning McQueen, Travis quickly developed a passion for speed and competition that has driven him ever since.
Over the years, Travis has competed in several high-level series, including the K1 Speed Challenge GP, the K1 Speed US Teen Nationals, and the K1 Circuit Semi-Pro Teen League. He currently races with Next Level Karting, one of the top youth teams in the region. His favorite place to race is the technical and fast K1 Circuit, while his home base remains the Phoenix Kart Racing Association, where he continues to refine his craft.
Travis’s accomplishments on the track are impressive. In 2024, he dominated the K1 Speed Teen League Phoenix Championship, winning 8 out of the 12 races. He also took the top spot in the B Main at the K1 Speed Teen US Nationals. One of his standout performances came during that event, where he built an 11-second lead—while racing in the rain on slick tires—solidifying his reputation as a rain master and fearless competitor.
Known for his aggressive driving style and fearlessness in wet conditions, Travis thrives when others struggle. His greatest strength is his ability to stay composed and fast in the rain, a trait that earned him his nickname. He draws inspiration from Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen, and prefers the COMPKART chassis for its performance and feel.
Off the track, Travis keeps his skills sharp with sim racing and stays active by running. His ultimate goal is to become a professional racer, and he’s motivated by the critics and doubters—those who say he can’t win. For Travis Myers, every lap is a chance to prove them wrong.
